- Roland Kelts (Martha, Wal-Mart and the Next American Invasion) is from New York. His writing has been featured in Playboy, Zoetrope, DoubleTake, Salon, The Village Voice and other publications in the US and Japan. He is the recipient of a Jacob K. Javits Fellowship in Writing and a winner of the Playboy College Fiction Contest, and he has lived in Manhattan, London, San Francisco, Anchorage and Osaka.







- Jeff Funk (From Ticket Reservations to Phones as Tickets and Money) is an associate professor of business at Kobe University. He has written many papers and two books: Global Competition Between and Within Standards: The case of mobile phones and The Mobile Internet: How Japan Dialed Up and the West Disconnected. He has consulted for firms like Nokia, NTT DoCoMo and J-Phone and is writing a book entitled Disruption: How the mobile phone will change the Internet and software industries.
