Terrie Lloyd is a 51-year dual-national of Australia and New Zealand, who has lived in Japan for 26 years. A "self-made man" in the truest sense, he formed his first company while in Japan on a working holiday visa at the age of 25. Since then, he has established another 17 companies of his own and many others for clients. He has had 6 successful earn-outs: LINC Computer and Techman (HK) sold to EDS in 1995, the Web division of LINC Media sold to Chinadotcom in 1999, Layer-8 Technologies spun out to ThetaMusic in 2003, DaiJob Inc. sold to Human Holdings in 2005, and Esphion Ltd., sold to Allot of Israel in 2007.

Our CEO, Terrie Lloyd gave practical advice based on his own business experience at the Entrepreneur's Handbook Seminar held on 20th of May, 2006. In spite of rainy weather, future entrepreneurs made their way to the ANZCCJ where the seminar was held. The seventh Entrepreneur's Handbook Seminar was fully booked with some of the participants coming from as far as Osaka and Yamagata!

Terrie Lloyd gave insightful advice at the the Entrepreneur's Handbook seminar held on 4th February 2006. The seminar was fully booked well in advance making extra seating necessary. Terrie focused on how to set up a company in Japan, paying particular detail to ways of avoiding common pitfalls. From how to get finance, good salespeople and tax advice, to the different approaches to selling a company, Terrie tapped into his depth of experience to highlight what's needed to make it here in Japan.
