Translation Software, "Honyaku Surfing V5.0" and "Honyaku
Surfing + V5.0" from Fujitsu Fujitsu and its affiliate company, Fujitsu Middleware, have released the newest version of web-translation software, "Honyaku Surfing V5.0" and "Honyaku Surfing + V5.0." Both of them translate English websites into Japanese with their 200,000-word dictionary and upgraded translation rules. E-mails can be translated as they come in, and clipboard translation is available for translating materials from other software such as word-processors. In addition, "Honyaku Surfing + V5.0" allows you to enter Japanese keywords for English-based search engines. The keywords are translated into English, and the search results in returned in English, but can then be translated into Japanese with the regular English-Japanese translating function. Laser Printer "Optra S 1855/1855n" from Lexmark Lexmark International Japan has released its monochrome laser printer "Optra S 1855/1855n." Both 1855 and 1855n come with a 133 MHz RISC processor, and can print 18 pages per minute. 2.1 GB of hard disk drive allows it to save formats, logos, and fonts. With true 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, it accepts printing on various kinds of paper, such as cardboard (Max.176g/m2) and OHP films (Max.146g/m2). 1855n incorporates network adapter, "MarkNet S," supporting Ethernet 10Base-T/100BaseTX. It comes with a high capacity battery that lasts up to 5 hours. The only thing you need in operating this machine is the pen that it comes with, so it can be used even when you do not have access to a keyboard or mouse.
